How’d you get to where you are today, working at 435 Digital?

I oversee all sales, marketing and operations of 435 Digital and have an extensive background in digital sales and launching successful start-ups. Before 435 Digital, I was overseeing all online and mobile sales for Chicago Tribune’s brands, including ChicagoTribune, Metromix, Triblocal, and ChicagoNow. As the first sales manager of ChicagoNow, I developed several strategies to monetize the innovative blog network. Under my guidance, ChicagoNow was profitable in less than one year after its launch.

Before joining Tribune in 2009, I launched the interactive sales team at Fox Chicago and in less than one year, my team generated $1.2 million in revenue. Previously, I oversaw all sales for HuntingNet.com, the world’s largest hunting website. At Midwest Outdoors, a TV show about hunting and fishing, I worked in production, sales and did on-camera work.

What do you love about your role as the Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations at 435 Digital?

435 Digital is a labor of love for me which started with coming up with the concept and bringing it to life.  Have the resources of Tribune behind 435 Digital gives us a competitive edge and makes coming to work an enjoyable experience.  And the people I work with are just awesome.
